Two Kinds Of Verb. A verb is the part of a sentence that tells us what the subject performs. Verbs vary by type, and each type is determined by the kinds of words that accompany it and the relationship those words have with the verb itself.

There are two types of Action Verbs which describe the Verb and the Subject doing the action and the Object on which the action is done, they are Regular and Irregular Verbs - These are the two different ways in which verbs change to form different tenses. Verbs can be classified in several ways. They consist of a verb and a particle : grow + up The children are growing up.
